Introduction to Dikhr & Dua Module
_“Should I not inform you of the best of your deed, and the purest of them with your Master, and the highest of them in your ranks, and what is better for you than spending gold and silver, and better for you than meeting your enemy and striking their necks, and they strike your necks?” They said: “Of course.” He said, “The remembrance of Allah [Most High].” [Then] Mu’adh bin Jabal [may Allah be pleased with him] said: “There is nothing that brings more salvation from the punishment of Allah than the remembrance of Allah.”_

How to access the Dikhr & Dua module in Salam app

Open the Salam App and tap the Module Button which is located at the bottom of your screen.

Tap the module button which says “Dikhr & Dua”.
How to Use the Dikhr & Dua Module
Caterogies tab:
- Once you tap the Dikhr & Dua module, you would be on this page.

Here you can see many tabs for different dua’as as per their category.

If you tap any one of them (for example: Food) you would be on this page.
- Tap any du’aa you would like to read and then you would be here.

On this page, there are Arabic and transliteration version of the du’aa as well as the translation of it.

If you tap the 3-dotted menu button at the bottom right, a new window will open
In here, you can visit the hadith it refers to, or copy the dhikr or add it to your custom list.
- To change the settings of the Dhikr such as font size and toggles for Arabic, English translation and transliteration, tap the gear icon at the top right of the dhikr page,
- The button at the bottom of the screen (highlighted in red circle) is to increment the dhikr counter, and the button to its right is used to decrement the counter. The button on the left of the plus button is used to reset the counter.
- The button (highlighted in red circle) at the top left is used to go back.
Custom list tab:
- At the top of the app, there is the “Custom List” tab where you can create “New List” by clicking on the “New List” button at the top.
- You can expand your custom list by clicking on it which will then allow you to keep track of your count.
To add more dikhr, edit the list, view the dikhr in full-screen mode or delete the list, tap the menu icon (highlighed in red circle) on the right.
In this menu, you can add the dikhr to another list, view its hadith or copy it.
- To reset your counter in a list, tap the “reload” icon just above the Du’aa.
Tasbih tab:
- In Tasbih tab, click anywhere on the screen to increment and tap the Decrement button to decrement.
How to Exit the Dikhr & Dua Module
To exit the Dikhr & Dua module, press the arrow at the top left corner.
